Rocky Hill Ranch introduces the
FULL MOON Night Ride.

2008 DATES:
April 19;   May 17;  June 21;  July 19;  August 16;

September 13;  October 11;  November 15;  December 13

Here's the deal:

On the nearest Saturday to a full moon
*  you are invited to join us for a ride that begins just after sundown.
*(carefully calculated using RHR's own liquid-Helium-cooled, atomic-clock-based astronomical instrumentation in collaboration with Jet Propulsion Labs and NASA's Hubble Space Telescope)

This will be a "no-drop" ride, meaning that we come home with everyone who left as part of the group.  This may be somewhat dissappointing to the buzzards and other woodland creatures with a taste for "fresh mountain biker," but we've found the policy is popular with nearly all of the customers.

Of course, we'll let adventuresome folk who know the way around the property govern their own actions. (This sort of news really gets the buzzards salivating)

After a thrilling romp through the woods we arrive back at the Saloon where there will be dancin' girls, free booze, and a money tree waiting for you when you get there.

(editor's note: the bit about girls, booze and a money tree in the
last sentence is a lie.  Everything else is on the level.)

(Oh, the stuff about NASA and JPL are also a lie, we got the dates from an internet search . . .)

Well OKAY mister "Editor,"    . . . anyway . . .

There will be food and drink, as well as hot showers and good company available at the Saloon for your pleasure.

We'll sit around after the ride and tell lies about the critters we encountered, aliens we abducted, toss around slanders about our riding buddies and generally have a good time.

Are you jiggy with all that?  Then come on out and join us for some good, clean, fun on the dirt, in the dark, alone in the woods, with who knows what kind of crazy people and animals and bugs and  . . .

(editor's note: disregard the copy writer's penchant for paranoia.  This is a fun gig.)

Now, here's the tricky part.  Even though it is a full moon, there's not really enough light to see when you're in the trees, so you'll need to bring your lights with you, or try to ride by braile. (heck, Mark Weir's buddy does it, can't you?).
